The baggage policy for checked luggage varies as per your cabin class and flight booking. If you have booked for Economy Class – Intercontinental, you are permitted 1 piece of baggage weighing not more than 23 kgs. For Economy Class – Within Europe, you will only be allowed hand luggage. The hand luggage allowance for both Economy Class – Within Europe and Economy Class – Intercontinental is 1 piece and 1 accessory (e.g. handbag, laptop bag, or briefcase), the combined weight of which must not exceed 12 kgs.
Business Class passengers are allowed to carry 2 pieces of luggage with each weighing 32 kgs. World Business Class and Europe Business Class passengers are permitted 2 pieces of hand baggage in addition to 1 accessory, with their total weight not exceeding 18 kgs. Passengers may avail of the KLM Web check-in a few hours before the scheduled flight departure time. Doing this will help you save time and skip the tiresome procedure of waiting in a queue.
