Jazeera Airways also known as Al Jazeera Airways is a Kuwaiti airline that was founded in 2004. It commenced its operation in 2005 and operates flights to the Middle East, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Europe. It is Middle East’s first private airline and has grown to be Kuwait’s second national airline. Terminal 5 at the Kuwait International Airport is the airline’s dedicated terminal and its main hub. Jazeera Airways Class of Travel

Al Jazeera Airlines offers two classes of travel on all its flights. The amenities provided depend on the type of Jazeera Airways booking. The different travel classes are as follows:

Economy Class

This class offers comfortable seats covered with fine leather. The passengers can access the airport lounge for a fee. 

• Passengers can pre-order meals online 24 hours before the flight.

• Passengers can carry a handbag of 7 kg and up to 30kg of checked-in baggage.

• In-flight entertainment is provided on sharable TV screens. 

Business Class

This class offers comfortable and wide leather seats. Complimentary airport lounge access is offered to passengers travelling to Cairo.

• Complimentary meals and beverages are offered to the passengers.

• Passengers can carry a handbag of up to 15 kg and up to 60kg of checked-in baggage.

• In-flight entertainment is provided on personal TV screens.

Jazeera Airways Baggage Allowance

Economy class passengers can carry up to 30 kg of checked-in baggage and a 7kg handbag. For the fare type ‘Light’ the passengers can purchase extra baggage at check-in. 

For the fare type ‘Value’  1 piece of 20 kg checked-in baggage and pre-purchase of an extra 10 kg is allowed. For the fare type, ‘Extra’  2 pieces up to 30 kg of checked-in baggage and pre-purchase of an extra 10 kg is allowed. 

Business class passengers can carry up to 60kg of checked-in baggage and 15kg in handbags.

Jazeera Airways Check-in and Boarding Pass

The passengers can check in online or at the airport. For airport check-in, the passengers have to arrive 3 hours before flight departure. Passengers can check in at the airport counter and collect the boarding pass. The rules for check-in are as follows: 

Check-in Jazeera Airlines Domestic Flights

For domestic flights, the passengers can web check-in 24 hours to 1 hour before the flight departure using the Jazeera Airways ‘Check-in’ page. 

Selecting seats, purchasing extra baggage, ordering meals and booking the Business lounge can be done online. Boarding passes are emailed which can be printed or sent to the mobile.

Check-in Jazeera Airlines International Flights 

For international flights, the passengers can check in 24 hours to 1 hour before the flight departure through the ‘Check-in’ page of Jazeera Airways. 

Passengers can select seats, order meals, purchase extra baggage and book the Business lounge online. Boarding passes are emailed which can be printed or sent directly to the mobile. 

Jazeera Airways In-flight Services

Al Jazeera Airlines offers an in-flight entertainment system that provides the latest movies, tv shows, music and games. Economy passengers can pre-order meals online from Jazeera Cafe. 

The Business class passengers are offered complimentary meals and beverages. The in-flight magazine J9 is provided to all the passengers that have the latest news and features. Passengers can buy duty-free products through in-flight shopping. 

Jazeera Airways Onboard Support

Al Jazeera Airlines assists passengers with special needs like expectant mothers and unaccompanied children. Passengers with mobility problems are provided with wheelchair assistance till the aircraft.

About Jazeera Airways Refund & Cancellations

Passengers can cancel Jazeera flight bookings through the airline’s website or the sales office. The Cancellation fee has to be paid. Applicable taxes are refunded and the remaining amount is held in credit for 1 year for future bookings.
