What is the Happy Trip Guarantee? What does it cover? Does it applies to all trips booked on Cleartrip?
Happy Trip Guarantee is applicable only for itinerary where it is explicitly mentioned. Our guarantee protects you from:
Flight Delays:
If you are travelling with connections, you could miss a flight because of a previous dela
Flight cancellations:
Your flight can be cancelled unexpectedly.
Schedule changes:
Airline can reschedule your flight which may affect your itinerary.
If this happens less than 2 days before departure, we will offer you a choice of:
Alternative flight to your destination, or
Refund the price of your unused tickets
In case these event happen more than 2 days prior to departure we choose one of the above. We’ll contribute to the following if you get stuck:
Transport To Another Airport:
To cover all passengers on the booking.
Overnight Accommodation:
Per passenger towards accommodation; if the delay is more than 8 hours overnight.
Food And Drink:
Per passenger towards refreshments; if the delay is more than 4 hours.
How do I avail the benefits in case of any incident? What is the procedure I need to follow?
Following are the mandatory steps/Instruction to avail the Happy Trip Guarantee:
Inform us as soon as you are aware of any of the situations above on our email mail address -

Respond within 24 hours to all our offers.
Don’t make any flight changes without our approval.
If we agree that you should buy a flight that’s not available online, we need to receive your email with proof of payment within 14 days.
Unfortunately, any non-conformance of these instructions will lead to your Guarantee getting void.
